1989 FJ62 or 94 Suburban k1500 with a 350 or 92 4runner sr5?
I'm trading my 2x nissan pick up and I have those 3 choices for even trades. The fj has 284000 miles and the other 2 about 165000 all are auto. I'm goingto be using the vehicle for taking my kid to and from school everyday and offroad outings once or twice a month. They all appear to be in pretty even condition. So for those purposes, which do you think I should trade for? Which will be the cheapest to maintain and give me the least trouble and the be the best vehicle for a slowly but surely project into becoming restored to as close to as new condition as possible while still being usable during the 5 year process?
What do you mean " how much"? I'm making an even trade.
noise when i press the gas pedal?
1997 Nissan Altima
in KOEO, and while pressing the gas pedal, there is a buzzing sound coming from the engine bay. i've never experienced that before. its only while the gas pedal is pushed/throttle position at WOT by hand. as soon as i let up, the sound goes away.
also, fwiw, the engine doesnt turn over.

1999 Nissan sentra burning oil?
I have a 1999 Nissan sentra with a 148,000 miles on it. It was bought brand new and has been well taken care off oil changes every 2800 miles, spark plug change tunes up ect.. We have never had any problems from it. Well 5 months ago my girlfriend was coming back From north Carolina and stopped in Atlanta because the oil light came on she checked it and it was completely out of oil which has never happended before. She put oil in it and drove it to Alabama well from atlanta to Alabama it burned 11qts of oil! She stayed at a hotel and the next day drove it from Alabama to Mississippi it only used maybe a qt of oil but the check engine light stayed on the whole time. Now, it's only using oil every once in awhile but is having problems going at any speed besides 40mph. The gas petle sticks when stopped. It also jerks when going at a speed other then 40 and sometimes (at random) it blows bluish grey smoke out the tale pipe. I think the piston rings are bad in the motor but I'm not sure. The car cranks with no problem and it's drive able. I haven't drove it more then 60miles in a day since its been having problems so I don't know how far it would make it. I'm just wondering if anybody has had this problem before and can help. I'm wondering if it would be worth to fix or just get another car. Does anyone know how much this problem would cost? Also how long could I drive it in this position? Thanks for reading and thanks for answering!
Yeah your prob right. The Brakes are good the cooling system is fine everything is good as far as I know of. No known signs of rust it's been a good car. I'm worried about the transmission having problems in the future I've heard if the motor is bad then driving it puts strain on the transmission.

Do you have to provide your insurance twice, when the other party loses it?
About a month ago i was sitting in the turning lane waiting for the light to turn green when a white Nissan came flying behind me and made what i thought was an abrupt complete stop, a few moments later his vehicle cam smashing into my truck. We are both in high school, and this was not the first time someone had hit me. (I myself have never been the cause of a wreck) my truck was fine. However, the emblem on the front of his car had cracked and fallen off and the area around it was barely scratched. We exchanged insurance and went our seperate ways. A few days later he approached me saying he had lost my insurance and that he needed it yet again. It honestly didn't sit right with me. I sent it to his mom yet again, and it was lost AGAIN. HE confronted me the other day by my vehicle, asking for it, and when i refused said that his mom was going to have me charged with a "hit and run"
it would turn out that he told his mother that i "Backed up into him" an idea that is quite frankly absurd. Why would i be in reverse in the middle of a busy intersection?
My question is, legally who is to blame according to Oklahoma law, and do i have to keep providing insurance after the other party loses it?
especially if it isn't my fault that the insurance was lost??
How much is a 2006 Nissan Altima with a rebuilt title worth?
Hello everyone. I REALLY need some advice. I lived in FL and recently moved to another state unexpectedly. I left my 2006 Nissan Altima behind and decided I would ship it. It's been two months and now we have decided to try to sell it instead of shipping since it costs $800. It has 48k miles on it but has a rebuilt title. I owned the car for 4 years and used it to commute to school. The car is in good condition and the interior is like new. I've never had a problem with it.
The same car w/out a rebuilt title would go for around $12,000. Before we moved someone offered $5200 and we thought that was too low so we didn't accept the offer. I wish I would have taken it now. Someone just offered $4200. Is that way too low? I know rebuilt cars go for less but that seems really low. Should I just ship it and hope to sell it for more or should I take it the $4200?
Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated!
